1978: The Presbyterians hired a part time lay minister to build up a United Church presence in southwest Kamloops.
1978: An ecumenical venture of the Presbyterian, Lutheran, United Church of Canada, Roman Catholic, and Anglican churches in Kamloops was established.
1979: Aberdeen Hills PLURA Society was founded by the United Church.
1979: 5 acres of land was purchased to build a centre for worship, study, and outreach. The vision was never realized.
1980: A congregation was formally organized as PLURA Hills United Church. They worshipped at Summit Elementary School.
1982: Moved worship to Aberdeen Elementary School.
1999: Built and dedicated building at 2090 Pacific Way.
